These resources, together with strong partnerships across the San Diego biomedical research community, provide an outstanding environment for scientific discovery and innovation.

We seek candidates with internationally recognized research programs spanning any area relevant to digestive and liver diseases. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:

The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to build innovative research programs, recruit outstanding trainees and collaborators, and strengthen UC San Diego's position as a global leader in digestive disease research.

The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate’s background and experience.
