Position description

The Department of Pathology (http://pathology.ucsd.edu) at the University of California San Diego School of Medicine is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body and seeks Assistant, Associate, or Full Research Scientists.

The selected candidates will conduct research studies in multiplex immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, tumor models, data analysis, cloning, and cell biology. The successful candidates will be responsible for writing and reviewing manuscripts, and directing projects and personnel. The successful candidates will also be expected to work with human samples as well as mice. Additionally, the selected candidates will teach and mentor postdocs and students in the laboratory.

Appointment level/rank will be based on background and experience.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications (required at time of application)

Candidates must have a PhD in Immunology or related fields.

Preferred qualifications

Candidates with 5+ years of post-doctoral experience in immunology, cancer immunology, and immune therapy or related fields are preferred.
