Position description

The UCSD/SDSU Joint Doctoral program in Audiology seeks lecturer(s) to teach a course on lntraoperative Monitoring for fall, winter, or spring terms.

The selected candidate(s) will be responsible for teaching a group of approximately ten 2nd year AuD students that have basic knowledge of evoked potentials and neuroanatomy. The course class will be conducted one day per week for seven weeks (less than a quarter).

Qualifications
Candidates must have the following:
1) AuD or PhD degree in health related fields
2) Board certification in Neurophysiological Intraoperative Monitoring
3) American Audiology Board Certification in Intraoperative Monitoring or Certification in American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists
3) Minimum 3 years of experience in Neurophysiological Intraoperative Monitoring
Candidates with over a year of teaching experience or more than a year of clinical experience in Intraoperative Monitoring are preferred.
