Salary range: A reasonable salary range estimate for this position is $71,500 - $107,600. Position description

The Division of Rheumatology, Autoimmunity, & Inflammation in the Department of Medicine (http://med.ucsd.edu) at the University of California, San Diego, is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body and is seeking applicants for Project Scientist positions.

The selected candidates will be responsible for conducting research studies and experiments focused on the development of vaccines for cancer and infectious diseases, data analysis, and the dissemination of research findings. The selected candidates will also teach and mentor postdocs and students in the laboratory.

Appointments will be at the Assistant, Associate or Full Project Scientist level based on background and years of experience.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications (required at time of application)

Candidates must have a MD or equivalent, PhD or MD/PhD in health-related fields.

Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years of experience as a Postdoctoral Scholar.

Preferred qualifications

Candidates with 4+ years of immunology and vaccinology research experience are preferred.
