The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences (https://obgyn.ucsd.edu/index.html) at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff and student body and is seeking board certified physicians in Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM), Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI), Gynecologic Oncology (GynOnc), Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS), Complex Family Planning (FP), Hospitalist, and General Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBGYN).
The successful candidates will be responsible for providing high quality training and teaching, clinical care of patients and/or research.
The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate’s background and experience.

Appointments may require candidates to be self-funded.
As a member of the Health Sciences Compensation Plan, the appointee should be aware that there are limitations on outside professional activities and clinical moonlighting is expressly prohibited. Candidates must have a MD or equivalent, PhD or MD/PhD in areas of OB/GYN & Reproductive Medicine or health related fields.
Candidates with a MD or equivalent must be Board eligible or Board certified in areas of OB/GYN & Reproductive Sciences. Candidates with a MD or equivalent must also be eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit as determined by the Medical Board of California.
