Position description
UC San Diego’s Center for Global Sustainable Development, housed in the Jacobs School of Engineering, has an opportunity for a non-tenure track Temporary Lecturer (Unit 18) .
The Jacobs School of Engineering and the Center for Global Sustainable Development at UC San Diego is committed to building an excellent, diverse and inclusive faculty, staff, and student body. Candidates with experience with activities that contribute to diversity and inclusion are especially encouraged to apply.
Lecturers will teach courses at the undergraduate or graduate level in the areas of electrical and computer engineering.
Current ENG courses are listed at the following link: https://ucsd.edu/catalog/courses/ENG.html In addition to the currently listed ENG courses, new ENG courses may also be offered and we are looking for individuals to teach these courses, as well. Please check the ENG course list throughout the year for potential additional courses.

Qualifications
Master’s degree in engineering, social sciences, education, or relevant field. 2 years of professional experience may be substituted for the degree requirement
Ph.D. in Engineering or a related field
