Position description
The UC San Diego Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering is seeking temporary, non-tenure track Lecturers (Unit 18). We seek applicants in all content areas and are particularly interested in applicants with the expertise to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in aerospace, controls, design, environmental, fluid mechanics, information storage, mechanics & materials, robotics, biomedical, biomaterial, medical devices, combustion, plasma and fusion, and renewables. Qualifications
Master's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. 2 years of Industry experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
Minimum of one quarter or semester teaching one or more courses, either as Instructor of Record or as a Teaching Assistant or equivalent industry experience such as a minimum presenting one or more seminars, or conducting one or more trainings
