Position description

The Department of Radiology at UC San Diego (http://radiology.ucsd.edu) is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body, and is seeking a Radiologist to contribute to our mission of clinical service, research, and education.

UC San Diego Department of Radiology is one of the most innovative and productive academic departments in the country, offering state-of the-art services for clinical and translational studies. The Department of Radiology Division is establishing an Emergency Radiology Section and seeks to recruit a Radiologist who will provide after-hours emergency radiology expertise.

Candidates must have an MD or equivalent degree and have board eligibility/certification. Candidates must have or be eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit as determined by the California Medical Board.

Candidates with experience in emergency/trauma cross-sectional and plain-film imaging, and fellowship training are preferred.

The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on the University of California pay scales. Appointments may require candidates to be self-funded.
