Position description

Faculty Position. The Department of Medicine at University of California, San Diego, Department of Medicine (http://med.ucsd.edu/) and the Division of Infectious Diseases is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body is actively recruiting a full time Clinical Infectious Diseases physician.

Selected candidates will work in both an inpatient and outpatient setting. In addition, this faculty member will be an integral part of building the Infectious Diseases division at UCSD.

Candidates must have an MD with an emphasis relevant to Infectious Disease. Candidates must be eligible for California medical license. Candidates with an MD must be Board Eligibility/Board Certification in Infectious Disease.

The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on the University of California pay scales. Appointments may require candidates to be self-funded.
