Position description

The School of Global Policy and Strategy at UC San Diego http://gps.ucsd.edu (formerly known as School of International Relations and Pacific Studies) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in politics and public policy to begin July 1, 2019.

Applicants at the assistant level should be new or recent PhD graduates in political science, public policy, or a relevant policy discipline with a PhD conferred by 07/01/2019. While we encourage applications from scholars studying all areas of public policy, GPS has particular interest in scholars of regional or urban politics and policy-making. Examples include comparative regional or urban politics, regional inequalities, land use, regional planning, sustainable development, political and economic geography, and smart cities. We welcome applications regardless of regional or comparative focus. Junior applicants must have a PhD conferred by July 1, 2019.
