Assistant, Associate or Full Clinical Professor

The Department of Anesthesiology (http://anes-som.ucsd.edu/) at the University of California San Diego is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body. The Department seeks non-tenured faculty members at the Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor ranks. Rank and Series will be commensurate with candidate’s experience and qualifications. Salary based on current UC Salary Scale.

All positions require demonstrated excellence in patient care, clinical teaching and a commitment to scholarly and creative activity. Successful candidates will be given the opportunity to participate in and develop clinical research protocols and to establish independent funding. Applicants must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology. Eligible to obtain a California Medical License required. Sub-specialty expertise in cardiac, neuro-critical care, regional anesthesia and liver transplant is desirable, as well as working in an Ambulatory Surgery setting.
