Description

The Department of Literature within the Division of Arts and Humanities at UC San Diego (http://literature.ucsd.edu/) is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body. Proof of authorization to work in the U. S. will be required prior to employment (Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1985).

Required Qualification:

The candidate will be expected to have completed an undergraduate university degree, to have native or near-native fluency in German, experience and a proven record of excellence in teaching the German language at the intermediate level in a university setting.

This is a part-time position, teaching one course each quarter during the 2018-19 academic year. The successful applicant will be expected to teach German 2A in the fall quarter, 2B in winter quarter, and 2C in spring quarter.
