Assistant, Associate or Full Professor (HS Clinical, Clinical X, In-Residence, Adjunct) Plastic Surgery
Position description
The University of California, San Diego, Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic Surgery (https://health.ucsd.edu/specialties/surgery/plastic/Pages/default.aspx) is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body and seek to recruit academic plastic surgeons with an interest in complex reconstructive plastic surgery.
Qualified candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Must have an MD and Board certification or Board eligibility in Plastic Surgery
- Completed fellowship training in microsurgery, hand surgery, craniofacial or pediatric plastic surgery at the time of appointment.
- Must have or be able to obtain a California medical license
The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on the University of California pay scales. Appointments may require candidates to be self-funded.
