Faculty Position, University of California San Diego: The Department of Medicine (http://med.ucsd.edu) at University of California, San Diego is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body. The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology is actively recruiting a full-time Hepatologist with a major emphasis in Liver Transplant to serve as the Medical Director of Liver Transplant.

Responsibilities include inpatient/outpatient consultation service and teaching. Outreach activities to support program growth will also be required. Excellent opportunities for clinical research are available.

Applicants must have an MD and board certification/eligibility in Gastroenterology. Applicant must be eligible for California medical license.

Appointment will be at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor rank. Series will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on University of California pay scales.
