The Department seeks a nationally recognized vibrant leader and exceptional surgeon with experience in clinical program building and effective multidisciplinary team-based care.
The successful candidate will have a track record of practice changing innovation and a vision for moving the field of vascular surgery forward that would be compatible with appointment into the academic senate series.
Qualified candidates must meet the following qualifications:
• A minimum of 7 years of clinical experience
• Demonstrated leadership skills in building innovative programs as well as recruiting and retaining faculty
• Completion of an ACGME accredited vascular surgery fellowship
• Board Certified in Vascular Surgery and able to secure a California Medical License
Candidates with an active research program in basic, translational, clinical or health services research will be preferred.
Appointment will be at the Associate or Full Professor rank. Series will include 50% Ladder Rank and 50% In-Residence with qualified candidates with secured extramural funding. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on University of California pay scales.
