Academic Position. The Department of Medicine (http://med.ucsd.edu) and the Division of Regenerative Medicine at University of California, San Diego is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body and is currently recruiting for an academic position in the Division of Regenerative Medicine.

The Division of Regenerative Medicine, in cooperation with the UC San Diego Health System, the School of Medicine, and the Sanford Stem Cell Clinical Center, seeks academic applicants to join a highly interdisciplinary effort dedicated to advancing stem cell research to clinical trials.

Academic applicants are sought to conduct strongly interdisciplinary research in glioblastoma oncology. UC San Diego seeks candidates who are on the path to establish independent and vigorous extramurally-funded research programs in regenerative medicine, human brain cancer, development of new drugs, and cellular therapeutics.

Applicants must have an MD or PhD or MD/PhD with an emphasis relevant to Regenerative Medicine.

Candidates should have a track record of publications and a willingness to participate in university service, graduate and undergraduate teaching.

Appointment will be at the Assistant, Associate or Full Project Scientist rank. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on University of California pay scales.
