The Department of Ophthalmology at UC San Diego (http://health.ucsd.edu/specialties/eyes/Pages/default.aspx) is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body. The department is recruiting a glaucoma physician-scientist with clinical research or laboratory research interests.
Candidates must have a MD or MD/PhD. Background in glaucoma diagnostics, clinical trial design, biostatistics, or optic nerve/aqueous outflow biology is preferred.
Appointment will be at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level. Series will be determined by the successful candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and based on University of California pay scales.
