The Department of Radiology at UC San Diego (http://radiology.ucsd.edu) is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body. The Department is seeking an experienced, full-time fellowship trained interventional radiologist to serve as the chief of division.
The successful candidate would administrate the division, and participate in clinical, teaching, and research programs. Candidates must have an MD, have Diagnostic radiology board certification and VIR subspecialty eligibility/certification, a valid current California medical license, and completed 1-year fellowship training in interventional radiology.
Expertise in all aspects of interventional radiology preferred but not required. Leadership experience is preferred.
Appointment will be at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level. Series will be determined by the successful candidate’s experience and qualifications. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on University of California pay scales.
