The Department of Radiology at UC San Diego (http://radiology.ucsd.edu) is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body. The department is seeking a full-time faculty member to participate in breast and fetal imaging as a Woman’s Imaging faculty member.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated academic productivity and scholarship, exemplary clinical care and teaching, and the desire and potential to become an international leader in the field of breast, or breast and fetal and woman’s imaging. The candidate is expected to participate fully in all the clinical activities of the division and will be responsible for interpreting mammogram, breast US and MRI, image guided breast interventions, fetal ultrasound, and diagnostic radiology. The candidate will teach fellows, residents, medical students, and visiting scholars and participate in division educational and administrative activities.
Candidates must have an MD, board certification in radiology, Breast Imaging or Woman’s Imaging fellowship, and active California license or be eligible for a California license.
Appointment will be at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level. Series will be determined by the successful candidate’s skills, qualifications and funding. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on University of California pay scales.
