Description

The Department of Urology (https://healthsciences.ucsd.edu/som/urology/Pages/default.aspx) at the University of California, San Diego is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body. The Department is recruiting for a new faculty member to have their primary clinical practice at the VAMC San Diego. This position will include participation in patient care, teaching and research.

Candidates must have an M.D and must be board eligible or board certified in Urology. Candidates must have or be able to obtain a California Medical License. Candidates must be committed to research and education. Sub specialty training in Urologic Oncology or Endourology and extensive experience or fellowship training in Urology is preferred. Successful candidates should be passionate about patient care and education.

Appointment will be at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level. Series will be determined by the successful candidate’s training, experience, skills and qualifications. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on University of California pay scales.
