Position description

The Department of Neurosciences at the University of California San Diego (UCSD) (http://neurosciences.ucsd.edu/) is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff and student body and is seeking a clinical investigator in the field of MS and related disorders.

The Department provides excellent opportunities for teaching, patient care and academic interests with time dedicated to teaching and scholarly activity at one of the nation’s top-ranked Medical Schools and one of the most academically productive Departments of Neurosciences in the country.

Successful candidates must have an MD and be experienced clinicians and independent investigators with a demonstrated commitment to patient care, clinical investigation and teaching. California medical license/eligibility and board certification/eligibility in Neurology is required, and if applicable Neurology specialties certification.

Appointment will be at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level. Series will be determined based on background and experience. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on University of California pay scales.
