Position description

The Department of Neurosciences at the University of California San Diego (UCSD) (http://neurosciences.ucsd.edu/) is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff and student body and is seeking an Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia disorders clinician at the Assistant, Associate or Professor level.

The position includes clinical and research opportunities through the NIH-funded Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (ADRC), and clinical trial activities. The candidate will work with a large group of clinicians and scientists at the ADRC and in the Department of Neurosciences.

Candidates must have an MD degree and be board eligible or board certified and have, or be eligible for, a California medical license. Candidates must have completed Neurology, Geriatric Medicine or Pathology training and have completed Fellowship training in Alzheimer’s disease or Behavioral Neurology, or have a track record of clinical expertise in these areas.

Appointment will be at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level. Series will be determined based on background and experience. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on University of California pay scales. Startup funding will be available.
