Position description

The School of Global Policy and Strategy at UC San Diego http://gps.ucsd.edu (formerly known as School of International Relations and Pacific Studies) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in public policy to begin July 1, 2017.

Applicants should be new or recent PhD graduates with an outstanding record in a PhD program in political science, public policy or economics. The successful candidate will have a background broadly in the field of public policy. Examples include political scientists within the fields of American, comparative or international politics with focuses on: institutions; the politics of policy design; policy implementation. GPS has a special interest in candidates who can provide leadership in our public policy (MPP) program. Applicants must have a PhD conferred or to be completed by July 1, 2017.
