Position description

Faculty Position, University of California San Diego: The Department of Medicine (http://med.ucsd.edu) at University of California, San Diego is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body. The Division of Gastroenterology is actively recruiting a full time clinical pharmacologist with a major emphasis in population pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics & pharmacometrics as it relates to drugs used for the treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD). Candidates must be eligible for a California medical license and should demonstrate a clinical background in inflammatory bowel diseases, biomarkers, disease specific outcome measures such as Crohn’s Disease Activity Index, Harvey-Bradshaw Index, Mayo score, Patient Reported Outcomes and endoscopic outcome measures. Responsibilities of this position include clinical research protocol development, IRB and regulatory submission, multidisciplinary team coordinating and interfacing, clinical data analysis, pharmaco-economic analyses, scientific writing and submission.

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on the University of California pay scales.
