Position description

Faculty Position in Hematology/Oncology. The Division of Hematology/Oncology (http://med.ucsd.edu) in the Department of Medicine at University of California, San Diego is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body. The Division is actively recruiting for a hematologist with a particular focus in hemophilia and thrombosis to serve as Assistant/Associate Director of the UCSD Hemophilia and Thrombosis Treatment Center (HTC; http://health.ucsd.edu/specialties/hemophilia/Pages/default.aspx). The individual will be expected to support the clinical practice, outreach and research missions of the HTC within the context of a robust multidisciplinary group and to participate in the educational programs within the Division. Applicants must be board certified/eligible in pediatric or adult Hematology, and eligible for a State of California medical license. Rank/series of appointment will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

The Department is seeking candidates who have demonstrated commitment to excellence in clinical care, teaching, research and service towards building an equitable and diverse scholarly environment.
