THE DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY AND BIOCHEMISTRY within the Division of Physical Sciences at UC San Diego ( invites applications for a tenured faculty position in the area of synthetic chemistry. Experimentalists in synthetic chemistry with interests including methodology, catalysis, natural products, chemical biology, or materials are encouraged to apply. Candidates must have a Ph.D. with a substantial record of research accomplishment as well as an innovative research and teaching plan. The successful candidate will be hired at the Associate or Full Professor level. To apply:

Successful candidates will be expected to teach chemistry and/or biochemistry courses at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on University of California pay scale.
