Assistant, Associate, or Full Clinical Professor

The Department of Dermatology in the School of Medicine (http//med.ucsd.edu) at the University of California, San Diego is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body. The Department is actively recruiting for clinical academic dermatologists and dermatopathologists. The ideal applicant must have training in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of skin disorders, with experience in outpatient and inpatient dermatology. Candidates should have a strong commitment to teaching and academic medicine. The successful candidate will have completed a Dermatology residency and/or Dermatopathology fellowship and is certified by the American Board of Dermatology.

A faculty leadership position in our Dermatopathology Lab and Dermatology Residency Program is available for the qualified candidate. California medical license/eligibility and board certification in dermatology are required. The department is interested in candidates who have demonstrated commitment to excellence by providing leadership in teaching, mentoring, research or service towards building an equitable and diverse scholarly environment.

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on University of California pay scales
