Position description

The University of California, San Diego (UCSD) School of Medicine, Department of Surgery,Division of Urology (http://urology.ucsd.edu/default.aspx) is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff and student body and is recruiting for a new faculty position with a focus on urologic leader in voiding dysfunction and neurology. Position will be for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level (rank and series to be determined). The position will service both UCSD locations and the Veterans Administration Healthcare San Diego System. This position will include participation in patient care, teaching, research and projects leading to expansion of the clinical service. Qualified candidates must meet the following criteria: 1) Board certification or eligibility in Urology 2) Extensive experience or fellowship training in trauma and reconstruction or ED/infertility 3) Commitment to research and education 4) Must have or be able to obtain a California medical license 5) Experience or a willingness to participate in teaching, mentoring, research or service towards building an equitable and diverse scholarly environment preferred.
Salary: Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on University of California pay scales
