Position description
The Human Development Program at the University of California, San Diego (http://www.hdp.ucsd.edu/) is committed to building an excellent and diverse faculty, staff, and student body, and invites applications from candidates whose experience has prepared them to contribute to our commitment. The program is currently accepting applications for temporary lecturer positions to teach the following courses for current and future academic years:
HDP120 – Language Development
HDP122 – Social Development
HDP150 – Advanced Human Development
HDP181 – Experimental Projects

Candidates should have at minimum a Master’s degree in a related field (e.g. human development, psychology, sociology, linguistics, biology, communication, anthropology, cognitive science, education studies, ethnic studies, history, literature, urban studies), outstanding teaching qualifications, and a demonstrated commitment to diversity. Initial appointments will be on a part-time basis beginning Winter 2014, with possible extension to subsequent quarters.
