The Rady School invites applications for one or more faculty positions at the Assistant Professor level (tenure-track) in the field of Marketing.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach effectively at the undergraduate and graduate levels in Marketing. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, teaching of Marketing courses and other core classes, improvement of curriculum, helping coordination of Marketing research seminars, development and assessment of new educational initiatives, and serving as the faculty advisor to student organizations.
Must be currently enrolled in a PhD program or already hold a PhD degree in Marketing, Psychology, Economics or closely related field, and have a minimum of three years of marketing research experience, as evidenced by scholarly work output and contributions to diversity. No teaching experience required. Candidates need to fit and complement empirical research in marketing including design and analyses of field data, field and lab experiments.
Candidates' research must both sufficiently overlap and also add to and complement existing research interests of Rady Marketing faculty. Information on Rady Marketing Faculty can be found here: https://rady.ucsd.edu/faculty-research/faculty/index.html#marketing
PhD must be awarded by the service start date of the 2024-25 academic year: September 23, 2024.
Teaching experience at the graduate level is preferred.
