Position description
The Department of Theatre and Dance, within the School of Arts & Humanities at UC San Diego, is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff and student body. We are seeking applicants for temporary lecturer position(s) in theatre and dance disciplines. Appointment(s) may be for 1 or more quarters based upon the teaching needs of the department and funding availability.
Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications and based on University of California pay scales.
Applications will be reviewed periodically as teaching needs arise.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates will possess an MFA, PhD or 3-5 years of professional experience.
Qualified candidates will have at least three years of teaching experience or specialized field expertise in the theatre or dance discipline and strong demonstrated accomplishments in areas.
Qualified candidates will also contribute to diversity, equity and inclusion, and will have a desire to play a role in advancing UC San Diego’s commitment to achieving excellence and diversity.
