Position description
The University of California, San Diego, Department of Surgery (https://medschool.ucsd.edu/som/surgery/Pages/default.aspx) is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body.
The UCSD/SDSU Joint Doctoral program (https://go.ucsd.edu/2zXBRo1) in Audiology seeks lecturer(s) to teach a course on lntraoperative Monitoring for fall, winter, or spring terms.

The selected candidate(s) will be responsible for teaching a group of approximately ten 2nd year AuD students that have basic knowledge of evoked potentials and neuroanatomy. The course class will be conducted one day per week for seven weeks (less than a quarter).

Qualifications
Candidates must have the following:
1) AuD or PhD degree in health related fields
2) Board certification in Neurophysiological Intraoperative Monitoring (NIOM)
3) American Audiology Board certification in Intraoperative Monitoring (IOM) or Certification in ABRET
4) Minimum 3 years of experience in NIOM
Candidates with teaching or clinical experience in IOM are preferred.
