The Department of Theatre and Dance at UC San Diego, located on the unceded territory of the Kumeyaay nation, invites applicants who specialize in ACTING with the ability to DIRECT in our season. As a department, we believe theater and dance are transformational art forms that have the power and promise to change individuals and society. To amplify this mission, and to contribute to our culturally diverse creative community, the department strongly encourages applications from artists who engage across a range of cultural perspectives and training modalities, including those from the people of the global majority, LGBTQIA+ practitioners, women, and especially those who have significant experience with a variety of acting and directing pedagogies.
