Position description

Post-doctoral positions are available to study receptor systems and cellsignaling pathways that control the response of macrophages and other immune system cells to TLRs and other Pattern Recognition Receptors. A background in biochemistry and molecular biology is preferred. Our studies apply cell culture model systems and also, mouse models of diseases in which chronic inflammation plays an important role.

Applicants are encouraged to examine publications from the Gonias laboratory (which now number over 200) to understand our scope of research interests.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications (required at time of application)

Candidates should hold a Ph.D. (Field of study: Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular) and have completed no more than three years of post-doctoral work at the time of application.
