The Division of Regenerative Medicine in the Department of Medicine (http://med.ucsd.edu/) at University of California, San Diego is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body and is actively seeking candidates for the position of Project Scientist in Regenerative Medicine.
The Project Scientist will focus their research on identifying unexplored anticancer strategies. Additionally, the Project Scientist will provide statistical analysis and abstract and manuscript preparation.
The Project Scientist will also have the opportunity to submit research grants as well as perform research projects in collaboration with faculty in the division of Regenerative Medicine.
Appointment will be at Assistant, Associate or Full Project Scientist level based on background and years of experience.

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on University of California pay scales.
Candidates with an MD or PhD in Health Related areas.
Candidates with advanced knowledge or experience in myeloproliferative neoplasms are preferred. Disciplines in molecular biology, stem cell biology, or cancer biology are also preferred.
