Assistant, Associate or Full Professor (Adjunct, In-Residence) Radiology Research (MSK)
Position description
The University of California, San Diego, Department of Radiology (http://radiology.ucsd.edu) is committed to excellence and diversity and seeks a Radiology Researcher.
Candidate(s) selected will join a multi-disciplinary team of investigators developing novel MRI techniques for morphological and quantitative imaging with musculoskeletal (MSK) and neurological applications. UCSD has a comprehensive array of facilities for human studies and small animal imaging. The current MR facilities include 1.5T and 3T GE scanners, and a series of Bruker scanners.
The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on University of California pay scales. Appointments may require candidates to be self-funded. As a member of the Health Sciences Compensation Plan, the appointee should be aware that there are limitations on outside professional activities and clinical moonlighting is expressly prohibited. Qualifications
Candidates must have a PhD in medical physics, bioengineering or a related field and experience on pulse sequence development and imaging reconstruction with clinical MRI or NMR scanners. Candidates must also have outstanding writing and communication skills as demonstrated by a successful publication record.
