Position description

The Department of Structural Engineering at UC San Diego is seeking one or more temporary lecturers to teach between one and three courses per quarter during the 2021/2022 academic year. We seek applicants in all content areas and are particularly interested in applicants with the expertise to teach undergraduate courses in mechanics, analysis, and design. Qualifications

Basic qualifications (required at time of application)

    Candidates must hold a Master's in civil, mechanical, aerospace, or structural engineering, or a related field, and must have demonstrated evidence of effective teaching.

Preferred qualifications

    A PhD in Civil, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Structural Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
