Position description
The University of California, San Diego (UCSD) School of Medicine, Department of Urology (http://urology.ucsd.edu/default.aspx) is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff and student body and is recruiting for faculty in Men's Urology.
Candidates must have an MD degree or equivalent and be board certified or eligible in Urology. Candidates must have or be able to obtain a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit as determined by the California Medical Board. Candidates must have expertise in male reproductive health and sexual dysfunction. Candidates must also have prior and current funding in translational or clinical urological research.
The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on the University of California pay scales. Appointments may require candidates to be self-funded. As a member of the Health Sciences Compensation Plan, the appointee should be aware that there are limitations on outside professional activities and clinical moonlighting is expressly prohibited.
