The Department is seeking applicants for positions across our varied Divisions and centers of excellence.
Candidates must have an MD, PhD, or MD/PhD or equivalent in a relevant field of Pediatrics. Candidates with an MD must be eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit as determined by the Medical Board of California. Candidates with an MD must be board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics or Pediatric subspecialties. For candidates involved in clinical care must have an MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent.
Candidates with substantial, existing and continuing funding are preferred. Candidates that show a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion are preferred.
The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on the University of California pay scales. Appointments may require candidates to be self-funded. As a member of the Health Sciences Compensation Plan, the appointee should be aware that there are limitations on outside professional activities and clinical moonlighting is expressly prohibited.
