RCHSD, a 524-bed level 1 Trauma Center, is the major regional primary and tertiary pediatric hospital and is the clinical home of UCSD Department of Pediatrics. We have faculty dedicated to all areas of our mission including exceptional patient care, quality improvement science, clinical research, graduate medical education, EMS and disaster medicine, advocacy, point of care ultrasound, population health, simulation, and informatics.

The Division Chief position will serve as a leader in the Department and will be greatly involved in expanding and strengthening the clinical and research missions of the Department. This unique opportunity is for an accomplished clinician and/or researcher who will contribute and lead clinical, teaching, and research to new levels of excellence in the School of Medicine, UC San Diego Health, Rady Children’s Hospital and its partners as well as the community.
