Position description

Part time non-tenure track lectureships with the Warren College Writing Program at UC San Diego will be available for the 2020-21 academic year (if needed, applicants may be considered for the current 2019-20 academic year) . Appointments vary from one to three quarters.

Each year, approximately 300-400 students will enroll in Earl Warren College as transfer students from community colleges and other institutions. As one of six undergraduate colleges on the UC San Diego campus, Warren College requires all transfer students to complete one upper-division writing course as part of their general education requirements [https://warren.ucsd.edu/about/history.html] .

A Ph.D., M.F.A. or other terminal degree in Rhetoric and Composition, English/Literature or related fields is required by the start of appointment
