The School of Global Policy and Strategy at UC San Diego is seeking to fill a tenured Associate Professor position in the field of economics effective July 1, 2020.
The school seeks an outstanding scholar with a strong empirical orientation working on issues related to the global economy, including trade and trade policy, multinational enterprises, international macro, immigration, and spatial and urban analysis. Successful candidates will demonstrate an established empirical agenda at the highest standards of professional research, a commitment to policy analysis, a clear track record of thought leadership and service, and the ability to contribute to diversity, equity, and inclusion in higher education. All applicants must have a PhD in Economics at the time of application This hire is part of a multi-year expansion of the School’s faculty.
