The Department of Music at the University of California San Diego seeks an accomplished and innovative composer to be appointed with tenure at the rank of Professor or Associate Professor beginning July 1, 2020. We value a broadly conceived aesthetic approach, investment in research, and dedication to the advancement and appreciation of music-making and the contemporary arts. Candidates will be expected to contribute to the undergraduate and graduate departmental curriculum and bring a commitment to organizational and administrative tasks.
