Description

The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences (http://repromed.ucsd.edu/) at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, student body, and is recruiting an experienced Research Scientist for our Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM), Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI), Gynecologic Oncology (GynOnc), Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS), and general Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBGYN) divisions.

The Research Scientist will serve as a resource for trainees (and also faculty) for: Study design, power calculations; Querying data from the EPIC/Clarity Clinical Data Warehouse (CDW); Setting up REDCap databases, Statistical analysis and abstract and manuscript preparation. The Research Scientist will also have the opportunity to perform research projects in collaboration with faculty in the division of MFM.

Candidates must have a PhD in epidemiology, biostatistics or other relevant areas.

Appointment will be at the Assistant, Associate or Full Research Scientist level. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on University of California pay scales.
