Position description

The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine in the Department of Medicine (http://med.ucsd.edu) at University of California, San Diego is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body is actively recruiting for full-time academic and research physicians at the Assistant, Associate, and Professor ranks.

Our physician support and dedication to teaching, research and clinical excellence has created multiple faculty and contractual staff positions available to support UC San Diego Health locations: UCSD Hillcrest and La Jolla, CA hospitals, as well as, our affiliated hospitals throughout San Diego, Riverside and Imperial Counties.

The Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep medicine program support and facilities are exceptional.

The ideal applicant with training and experience in one or more of the following clinical and academics interests are encouraged to apply:

1) Interventional Pulmonary
2) General Pulmonary: Inpatient consultation and Outpatient clinical experience
3) Cystic Fibrosis
4) Pulmonary Rehabilitation
5) Sleep Medicine
6) Critical Care

Candidate must have an MD and be eligible for California medical license and board certification/eligibility within at least one specialty: Pulmonary, Critical Care, and/or Sleep Medicine.

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on the University of California pay scales. Appointments may require candidates to be self-funded.
