The University of California, San Diego, Department of Surgery, Division of Otolaryngology (http://oto.ucsd.edu/default.aspx)is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff and student body and seek a board certified or eligible otolaryngologist(s) with experience in general otolaryngology to join our Division.
This is a full-time non-tenured faculty position. This position includes participation in patient care, medical student teaching, resident supervision, on-call, research and projects leading to expansion of the clinical service, as well as a commitment to developing a strong and diverse Otolaryngology practice at our Hillcrest campus.
Qualified candidates must meet the following criteria:
- MD or MD/PhD
- Board certification or eligibility in Otolaryngology
- Must have or be able to obtain a California medical license
- Experience in general otolaryngology
- Demonstrated interest and experience in education and research
Additional sub-specialty training is preferred
The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on the University of California pay scales. Appointments may require candidates to be self-funded.
