The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry in the Division of Physical Sciences at UC San Diego invites applications for a tenured Full Professorship in Chemistry and Biochemistry, with a preferred focus on organic chemistry which may include chemical biology and/or catalysis. The successful candidate will hold the Murray Goodman Endowed Chair in Chemistry and Biochemistry, occupy laboratories in our new Tata Hall (opening in Summer 2018), and will help lead the expansion of our world-class program in organic chemistry.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in chemical sciences or equivalent and a recognized program of excellence in both research and teaching in organic chemistry.
